My son-in-law Nick, came into our family some 10 years ago now. He’s such a great guy, but he’s also a very picky eater. That part didn’t mix too well with us. We eat most anything. He has shared some of his recipes for the food he likes and I’ve learned to love his food too.
This recipe for chili is probably the easiest one I’ve ever made and it’s thick. Thick is good! If you like thick chili, try this out. Let me know what you think.
Chili In A Skillet
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1-2 cans tomato sauce
- 2 cans chili or kidney beans
Cook the ground beef in a large skillet, drain off excess grease. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the beans and then as much tomato sauce as you want. Stir together well. Cook until heated and to a thick consistency you like.
That’s it! Done. Now, how easy was that?!
Now, grab some crackers or cornbread and maybe a little cheese on top too. Mmmmmmmm, that’s good stuff!
